Leo Messi is back in firing form, scoring a sublime hat-trick against Espanyol last night.
The Barcelona star opened the scoring despite being offside. Clearly the Maradona affect is rubbing off on his successor.
It only took 10 minutes for Messi to bag his second, thanks to an assist from Jordi Alba. The Spanish left back combined with the Argentine again, setting up Messi's third goal.
Make that 42 career hat-tricks, with 27 of them coming from the La Liga.
