The final regular-season Free-For-All is in the books as the Eagles did their best to try to ruin the Giants’ run for the playoffs.
Eli Manning put up some big numbers on Thursday night, but unfortunately, one of those numbers was in the interceptions column. Manning threw three interceptions, one of them a pick-six in the first quarter. The Eagles jumped out to a 14-0 lead less than six minutes into the game. Despite having 24 first downs and 470 yards of offense – with 150 of those yards coming from Odell Beckham on 11 receptions – the Giants couldn’t put enough points on the board. The Eagles capitalized on Manning’s mistakes and took down the Giants with a final score of 24-19.
Even with the loss, the Giants are still in a good position to take one of the two wild card spots for the playoffs. They’ll finish the regular season on New Year’s Day on the road against the Washington Redskins. A win will guarantee a return to the playoffs for the first time since the 2011 season, when they won the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.
But enough about that. Here are the Free-For-All results!
Rewards, Winners, and Payouts
We had a total of 20 contestants again for our third Free-For-All contest. The totals earned from the Tuesday post were 19.934 SD and 91.138 STEEM. I sold the SD for STEEM at a price of $0.1333 per STEEM and received 149.505 STEEM, bringing the total to 240.643. After adding the 250 STEEM donated by @nextgencrypto, the total pot increased to 490.643 STEEM (I dropped the decimal amount of 0.643).
The payout for each of the five statistical categories was 98 STEEM. These were the final stats and the winners for each category:

Stay tuned for more contests as the playoffs are almost here!
We had another 20 contestants this week and 6 winners, giving us rewards distribution to 30% of the players. The lowest payout this week totaled just under $7, while the highest payouts were nearly $14. I hope everyone enjoyed the format, the friendly competition, and even the brief previews and recaps of the games...oh – and the rewards for winning!
Thanks again to everyone who played! And a big thank you goes to @nextgencrypto for putting up over 750 of his own STEEM for these contests! That kind of support for Steemit community events is greatly appreciated and should not go unrecognized.
