Football- England coach, Gareth Southgate, was satisfied with the performance of two players debutant, Harry Winks and Harry Maguire.

The two players earned a share of the match in England's 1-0 win over Lithuania in the 2018 World Cup 2018 European Zone on Sunday (08/10/2017). The match is no longer decisive for the three-man squad because it has made sure the tickets qualify directly to the finals in Russia.

Therefore, Southgate experimented with replacing the seven players from the last game starter arrangement.

"We give players a chance to see how they look, so motivation in this team is maintained," Southgate said as quoted by BBC's BolaSport.com.

Southgate's decision proved telling because Britain re-scooped tripoin thanks to Harry Kane.

The debutant performance, especially Winks, is also quite impressive.
The 21-year-old midfielder was awarded the BBC's man of the match.

"For me, especially not who the opponent is when you play for England, but whether you can cope with uniform pressure or not," said Southgate.

"In that case, I'm satisfied with Harry Winks," said the tactician.
Thanks to victory over Lithuania, England continued their unbeaten record in 10 qualifying matches.

They summed up 26 points from eight wins and two draws. []
