4-3 win against Coventry

In a game were we wanted to build momentum going forward after being knocked out of the youth cup it was important that we came out with a win and that's exactly what we had done. To take us 3rd in the table.

We started off very poor in the tough conditions, conceding a penalty early on which they had scored and then going 2-0 down it was looking like it was going to be a long game for us, but we pulled together and before you know it, it was 2-1. i then got the ball ran down the channel then i chopped it back to my right foot then bent it bottom corner to make it 2-2 the conditions were tough to play football on but we was trying but then against the run of play Coventry manged to get a goal with around 10 minutes left, 3-2. around 5 minutes later i got the ball around the halfway line and played a ball in behind were our striker scored. we are into added time and the Coventry keeper tries to play out from the back but our strike read it intercepted it and played it across to me then i passed it into the net and that made it 3-4 and we went on to win the game. i felt like what i needed to do was control the game in the midfield and boss it and i felt like i did do that in the match and i felt like i had a big presence. So i was really happy to contribute with 2 goals & 1 assist.

Some of you may think why is he happy.. but as a young player when you see things like this it makes you feel like you are doing something right and people are looking at you and thinking you are good and it makes you want to keep going and push to be at the top and be the best.

I can't think of a better way to bounce back from dropping out of the cup then to score a couple of goals in a resilient win. Keep it up mate.

thank you very much
