Josep Guardiola will leave Manchester City upon the expiration of his contract in June 2025. He is not expected to sign a new contract with City.

ESPN reports that Pep has yet to make a decision about his long-term future with The Citizens after seven seasons in charge of Manchester Blue.

It is believed that the Spanish coach is interested in a career in international football. In other words, he can coach a country after his contract expires at the Etihad Stadium.

Of course, Pep will continue to train Man City until 2025. However, the 52-year-old man is reluctant to negotiate a new deal next year.

Here is Pep Guardiola's response to his success this season.

"I'm tired, calm and satisfied. This damn trophy is very difficult to win. This competition is a coin (toss/gambling)," said Pep.

"I'm very happy, but in the end they could have scored, and we could have lost, and I would be the same person, we would be the same club," he added.

"Winning the first one was very difficult. Maybe in the future I don't say it will be easy, but maybe it's more comfortable," he continued.

Since arriving at the Etihad in the 2016/17 season, Guardiola has led the club to 12 prestigious trophies. Of course, the pinnacle of glory was their first Champions League win.

This season, Pep's team also made a special achievement in the form of a treble. He led City to become the second English club to achieve the feat after Manchester United in 1998/99.

Unfortunately, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has reportedly been staying in Manchester longer than originally planned.

Therefore, he will leave after the success he has achieved. However, of course, the City will try to hold the genius manager.
