Barcelona still need 25 more points to be champion and today has become more league title after winning 1-0 against an Atletico Madrid who fought to the end as usual.
With this victory the Barcelona is positioned in first place with 8 points of advantage to a second Atletico de Madrid that has 61 and leaves far behind the European Champion with 54 points.
The Simeone team had to get closer to the Leader and keep the league alive, but the match was decided after a sublime free-kick goal by Messi in the first half in which Oblak could not do anything.
Atletico barely passed the first half of the pitch and although in the second half they put more pressure Simeone's players failed to score, only Gameiro scored a goal that was canceled by Diego Costa's previous offside game!
