We had the other ECL groups play today and I think everything did come out as was expected, except I think, the Bayer Leverkeusen loss to Lokomotiv Moscow and the rather heavy loss that Atalanta suffered in Zagreb.
I watched most of the Athletic-Juventus game, it was a great game and I think the result is a just result of what happened in the game, Athletic was able to come back after being down 2-0, but this game could have game either way it was a real fast game especially knowing that both teams prefer to show a solid defense.
As for the others I did expect to have PSG make easy pickings off of Real Madrid, Bayern of course took car of Red Star Belgrade, Olympicos can consider themselves lucky with the tie against Tottenham and Manchester City showed some very good attacking football.
If I were to make a prediction I would think that the 2019-2020 ECL winner will be between Bayern, Manchester City and PSG. And I really think that either would deserve it, especially MC or PSG who it seems always fail to get to the finals.
We shall see how this plays out there is still a long way to go, and as always in football anything can happen.
