The Vatreni are a very compact side, having been formed in 1990 before the nations independence from Yugoslavia. They have made 5 world cup appearances and a third place finish in 1998.. They have failed to qualify for just only one world cup tournament in 2010 and one European championship in 2000.
So, they are not fazed by the big stages.. They have come play..
