Neville: Wenger Will Leave Arsenal End of The Season
LONDON - Former Manchester United player, Gary Neville, believes Arsene Wenger will not be coach of Arsenal next summer. According to him, Wenger will resign as coach of Arsenal at the end of this season because again failed to bring positive results for the club based at the Emirates Stadium.
It is believed Neville because Arsenal's notch is not also improved throughout this season. Neville believes Wenger will do so, even though his contract with Arsenal is only one year away.
"I think this may be a confusing situation, most people think Arsenal will again give Wenger a two-season contract that will keep him in the team for the next 18 months," Neville said, as quoted by the Daily Mail on Friday (2/2 / 2018).
"But actually, next summer, when no one else is expecting him, he will say, 'I resigned as Arsenal manager.' It was a fact, I knew it would happen because he would not be able to tell anyone will be done, just like Sir Alex Ferguson, "Neville continued.
"So I think this is probably the last season at Arsenal Wenger, because, next season, a new contract for Wenger will not exist," said Neville.
Neville's prediction might actually happen. Because, the Gunners-nickname Arsenal- often provide an uncompetitive appearance this season. Arsenal lose competitiveness with other Big Six clubs in the English Premier League this season.
It is clearly visible from Arsenal incision in English Premier League standings 2017-2018. In the standings, club based at the Emirates Stadium is now still entrenched in sixth position.
Arsenal certainly do not want this deterioration continues. They must make big changes to get his club up. Not only by bringing great players to the team, but also replace Wenger with a better coach.
