Who would have thought if Xherdan Shaqiri and Mohamed Salah would re-unite in the same team after having split for six years.
Shaqiri has just officially joined Liverpool. He was imported from Stoke City with a transfer value of 13 million pounds and was given a five-year contract.
Shaqiri became the third new face of Liverpool in the transfer market this summer. Previous skuat Jurgen Klopp already the arrival of Naby Keita and Fabinho.

Interestingly, Shaqiri had met with Salah at the Swiss club, Basel in March 2012 ago. At that time Salah undergo a trial in Basel.
But the second meeting did not last long enough because in the summer of 2012 Shaqiri chose to leave to Bayern Munich.
"He (Salah) came training and trial when I was in Basel, he came to training two or three times, I trained with him," said Shaqiri on Liverpool's official website.
"Then I went to Bayern Munich and he stayed in Basel, I'm glad I met him here," Shaqiri continued.

Furthermore, Shaqiri admitted impressed with the achievements shown Salah along with Liverpool last season. The Swiss international is also hoping that Salah continue his glorious performance in next season.
"Last year he had a great season and I hope he can do it this year," Shaqiri said.
"I'm really happy he went through a good season because he is a very nice man, a nice guy," he said.
