An astonishing performance by Ceres Negros FC as they had completely demolished Global Cebu FC 8 - 0 (4 goals in the half). Their recent win made them on top of the standings with 7 points in three games and a +13 goal difference.

The goals were mainly contributed by Bienvenido Marañon (9th, 13th, 33rd, and 81st minutes) as the Filipino-Spanish forward is now the leading goal scorer in the league. Goals from Mike Ott (45+2'), Mahir Karic (74', 89'), and Jeffrey Christiens (86') made the score 8 - 0 and what has been the most comfortable win this season.
With the huge loss, Global Cebu sit at the bottom of the standings with 0 points in 2 games and a -9 goal difference. It seemed like the debutant Philippine Army FC and Mendiola FC are still struggling in their way, while Green Archers United (debutant) is now sitting in the third position with 6 points in three games.
