The 2nd match day of the Philippines Football League went in an entertaining fashion as the three game schedule has just finished. Teams that were expected to win delivered them well and some teams who played with more hunger came out victorious. Let's look on the results of the games :

Kaya FC Iloilo 2 - 0 Stallions Laguna FC
Kaya FC Iloilo came out victorious in front of the home crowd at Biñan Football Stadium by trashing the host 2 - 0, thanks to the goals from Bedic 26' (via Penalty) and Mintah 88'. With their recent win, they are now place on top of the standings with 6 pts (and a goal difference of 6pts).
Ceres Negros FC 5 - 0 Philippine Air Force FC
Ceres Negros FC demolished the newly entered Philippine Air Force FC 5 - 0 at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium. Marañon got his first hat-trick on the 14', 76', and 82'. Curt Dizon also bagged two goals on 50' and 80' which made the Bacolod side earned three points. The game also went in physical with three red cards given two players.
Green Archers United FC 1 - 0 Global Cebu FC
The only goal that decided the win was from Green Archer United's Zubiri on the 72' and it made them earn their first three points of the league. Global Makati FC also suffered their opening loss of the tournament.
