Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno backed Julen Lopetegui, saying the under-fire coach had his trust.
Lopetegui is under increasing pressure at Real Madrid following their winless run which stretches to four matches during they have failed to score, their worst in 34 years.
Their embarrassing 1-0 defeat to CSKA Moscow in the second round of the Champions league and at high flying Alaves who are currently league toppers has put his future in doubt.
But Butragueno, director of institutional relations at the club offered the former Spain boss support ahead of Madrid's match against Levante in LaLiga today.
"Real Madrid have a great technical team. We trust them and we are confident that we will have a good season," he said on Friday.
A win against Levante will see fifth placed Madrid top the table temporary.
