Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has informed his defenders Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian that he will not be needing them and they are free to look for new teams. Their contracts both end in 2019 but they will be available to negotiate with other clubs.
The Italian international joined in 2015 from Torino and has 52 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 1 goal. He has 36 appearances for the Italy national team but this season he only has 15 matches for the Red Devils.
Daley Blind joined a year earlier from Ajax and has made 104 appearances in total for Manchester United and has scored 6 goals and was used both as a defender and a defensive midfielder, but also lost his starting spot with only 16 matches this season.
Both Blind and Darmian won the 2015/16 FA Cup, the 2016/17 EFL Cup, the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League and the 2016 FA Community Shield.
