Real Madrid have sacked Julen Lopetegui after just 6 months in charge. The writing has been on the wall for Lopetegui over the last few weeks and after Madrid were beaten 5-1 by arch rivals Barcelona which was the last nail in the coffin.
Former Madrid winger Santiago Solari will take temporary charge while a new manager is sort after.
RM deserve this after the farce they pulled during WC and signed Lopetegui right before Spain was due to play their first match.
