Carlos Bacca is known to be a famous Colombian striker playing for both the Colombian National team and Villarreal. Carlos began his soccer career at Atletico Junior and became a top scorer in 2010 Categoria Primera A Aperture. In January 2012, he transferred to Brugge club where he remained a top-scorer in the entire season campaign. Later, Sevilla purchased him for 2013-15 at the price of 7 million Euros. In those two seasons, he won UEFA Europa league including by giving an extraordinary performance in Europa League Final 2015.
Carlos was born to Colombian parents Eloisa Ahumada and Gilberto Bacca in Puerto Colombia. The Villarreal player is recognized for his religious faith in Evangelic Cristian; it is also said that he once played for Roma (a Serie A team) to close a distance with Pope.
Atletico Junior
Bacca started his football journey at Atletico Junior with very few chances to play for the club. In 2007, Barranquilla FC rented him where he played 27 matches and netted 12 balls.
Brugge Club
At the beginning of 2012 season, Bacca started playing in Club Brugge (a Belgium league side). He signed a 3-year contract for 1.5 million Euros and netted 28 balls in his 45 league games.
Sevilla
After that, he signed a 7 million Euro bond with Sevilla for five years, including 30 million release Clause. Milan and Villareal
On 2 July 2015, Bacca declared, he would join Milan for 30 million Euros and played his first game against an Italian club Internazionale in a friendly match. Then in August 2017, he joined Villareal for 2.5 million Euros fee and made his debut right after four days of his joining against Levante; unfortunately, the team lost that match with 0-1.
