Arsenal Legend, Thierry Henry has agreed in principle to take over the job of Head coach at French side, Girondins Bordeaux.
The Arsenal record goalscorer is said to have agreed to become the club's new manager provided some conditions where met, like knowing the budget that'd be available to him and the power he has in transfer decisions.
Henry is set to take over the position from Gus Poyet who was suspended last Friday after the Uruguayan criticised the club's transfer policy.
Although Poyet is still contracted to the club, he has left the void for a big-name replacement for his job.
Former Germany manager, Jurgen Klinsmann and Laurent Blanc who won the league with Bordeaux have also been linked with the job but Henry looks to be in pole position.
The ex-French striker is currently the Assistant to Roberto Martinez with the Belgian national team and was part of the team that won bronze at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has also given his nod on the 44-year old getting the job and doing it well.
Bordeaux finished sixth last season but have started this season poorly, losing their first two matches, 1-0 to Strasboug and 2-1 to Toulouse.
They have however fared better in Europe, winning all six of their Europa League qualifying matches and now face Gent in the next round.
