After He was included in the matchday squad for Borussia Dortmund over the weekend, my hopes were down, I thought he was gone... Again, like the others only to see again this afternoon that the two teams have reached an agreement around the region of £60 million. I would say I don't trust anything Arsenal when it comes to transfer until the player is unveiled. I also heard from a friend that he was booed by the Dortmund fans after the match against Freiburg. I'm not a fan of players leaving under acrimonious circumstances like this but as it is, I guess there's little one can do from the outside.

If eventually, Aubameyang moves to Arsenal, I feel it sends a statement of intent to opposition. I'm sure Chelsea fans would be happy that we don't have to meet again this season.

I hope if he happens, Arsene Wenger would just play a 3-5-2 formation to allow Aubameyang and Lacazette function together and with Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mhikiytarian in team, I can't wait to see how they line up and cause trouble for oppositions. Definitely, a flood of chances would be created and i hope Arsenal can return us to glory days.

The last time Aubameyang and Mhikiytarian played together in the same team, at Dortmund, the pair produced sterling performances and the Former looks a proven poacher with 141 goals in 212 appearances for the yellow submarines. The pair also look best of friends and Aubameyang admitted to being hurt after the Armenian forced his move to Old Trafford in 2016.

I can't WAIT for Auba to join the gunners! We sold one class player and brought in two class players, this is not the Arsenal I know.....

Absolutely right. It's been a long time we replaced class with class(es)

Aubameyang would be a top-notch signing, as he fits Arsenals game plan very well.

Yaay 💪

I can't wait to see him in the Arsenal colours

As a United Fan Aubameyang would be a great addition to the Premier League and would give Arsenal some much needed options. The onluy question i have is the Defensive midfielder position not a more urgent position to fill?

It is. I don't know why Wenger isn't looking in that direction. Perhaps, he's looking to give Maitland Miles the opportunity to finally play his preferred "Vieira" role rather than playing him as a full back.

Auba and Mkhi are excellent additions! The dynamic duo from Dortmund reunited. And add Ozil to the equation - Auba is going to have tons of chances put on a plate for him. As a Liverpool fan, I am a little jealous.

Liverpool brother ywnw

Lol... I love your admission of jealousy. It's normal. Just sad you guys had to lose Coutinho the way you did. Better days to come bro

From the sound of it Auba will soon be an Arsenal player! While I'm excited for picking up someone of his talent I just don't think it's enough. There is still that solid problem at the club, our coach and owner just don't fit the mold.

We can't seem to find any cohesiveness in a style of play that suites us. Win big one game, lose the next. Our players look out of sorts with no real understanding of what they should be doing on the pitch. This all stems from the top, manager and owner. Any other team would of sacked the coach by now but not Arsenal why...

Sorry just venting after that crappy display of the same thing happening over and over again.

Lets just hope our club can change for the better.

You're spot on. I've already said this severally about the board and hopefully, I'm coming up with a piece soon on that. I feel, Wenger has overstayed his welcome even. He already helped the club through the hard time, which we appreciate. He should step down and take a Director role and allow a coach of this generation to take over. He seemed not to have evolved with the way modern football has. My only concern now is securing a replace for him. Diego Simeone? Pep? (of course not).

Another problem of the Arsenal team is, they lack character and the coach who is supposed to instill that in them is already too fable and more like a father figure to them hence, his gentleness in his approach. This won't help us survive in modern football.

Let's just hope for the best

Couldn't agree more.

Aubameyang is a very good footballer and I believe that his combination with Mkhitaryan would be deadly again.
Let's wait till the close of transfer windows and see what happens.
