French Ligue 1 side, Nantes have demanded from English Premier League side, Cardiff City, part payment for the transfer fee of new signing, Emiliano Sala who went missing on hi way to join his new teammates.
The French club said the Premier League side is expected to make the payment in instalments for a period of three years.
Cardiff have however refused to make any payment until the player’s documentation is concluded, a condition which seems almost impossible with the current situation of things.
The Welsh side have expressed surprise at Nantes’ move with Sala and pilot Ibbotson’s whereabouts yet to be ascertained.
The private search for Sala over the weekend found a body in fragments of the Piper Malibu airplane seen in the English Channel and efforts are being made to extract it.
Nantes were initiallyexpected to receive £15m, with half of it going to Bordeaux, the club the Argentine played for a long time before joining Nantes.
