England striker, Marcus Rashford has equalled the record set by former England defender, Jack Charlton, 52 years ago.
The Manchester United star has featured in 16 of England's 17 games in 2018 equalling the number of games played by Charlton for the English side in 1966.
His appearance in the 2-1 win against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League tie on Monday made him the player with the most appearance for England this calendar year.
England's surprising outing at the World Cup which took them to the third place playoff and now the Nations League has contributed to him amassing much appearances.
The 21-year old only failed to feature for the Three Lions in the 6-1 thrashing of Panama during the group stage of the 2018 World Cup in 2018.
Rashford has scored four goals and creating one assist in those appearances and has gone on to establish himself as a regular in Gareth Southgate's team.
