Australia International, Tim Cahill has called it quite with his national team career after appearing in his fourth consecutive World for the Socceroos.
Cahill who has a successful club stint with Everton in England made his final appearance for Australia in the 2-0 loss to Peru in Russia.
The 38-year old is the all time goalscorer by the Australia with 50 goals in 107 appearances which include Australia's first ever World Cup goal against Japan.
He is just two appearances shy of their record appearance but has decided to hang his boot. This also leaves doubt on his club career after he saw out his contract with Millwall.
