Lille OSC have completed the signing of Portugal International, Jose Fonte on a free transfer.
Fonte earlier this week terminated his contract with Dalian Yifang and signed a two-year contract with the Ligue 1 outfit.
Despite making just nine competitive appearances for the club, he featured in all four games for Portugal at the just concluded World Cup in Russia.
The Portugal International has also featured for Crystal Palace, West Ham and Southampton in England, playing with the Saints in League One, through Sky Bet Championship before gaining promotion to the Premier League.
The Portugal International moved to West Ham in January 2017 before switching to China in about 13 months.
The 34-year old joining Lille now has been saddled with leadership responsibility alongside Loic Remy for a side that barely escaped relegation last season.
