The character of the candidates are cats, Tigers and wolves. The winner is Zabivaka, a Wolf anthropomorfik who dressed a la Russia national team colors. Zabivaka was chosen as the mascot based on the triumph of voting 53% or about 1 million voters. Zabivaka was introduced as the character of the charming ball players, confident and friendly on anyone.
