Hi football fans!Today, an extraordinary interesting game, a match the Champions League semi-final,participants of this confrontation AS Roma-Liverpool 1st leg result: 2-5.
In one step from the regular Liverpool Champions League finale, he returns to the 1984 game where Merseyside defeated Roma in a penalty shoot-out! Liverpool is doing miracles this season with the head coach, the Klopp J. built a tactical, high-speed team and a team that shoots each time with new colors. , and also will be frank-Salah M.
typed an extremely good shape!
Handicap in three balls-comfortable thing, but in the previous round in Rome, Barcelona has paid for such thoughts. Let's be frank, if not a match against Barcelona in Rome, where Roma got a sure win with a score of 3-0, few would have thought, that in this confrontation there is an intrigue. The Romans proved that they are ready to fight to the very last minute and can show the miracles of Roma at home shows an extremely strong football, especially in the Champions League! In this Champions League, knocked out Shakhtar Donetsk, as well as Barcelona, so I think that Roma will give the fight and the Meresaids!
Interesting Facts:
-Liverpool are just one good defensive performance away from their third Champions League (CL) final in 15 years. However, Roma have already proved that defeat after a first-leg loss (5-2) is only a state of mind.
-Only a 3-0 or 4-1 (or larger) scoreline would be good enough for the men from the Italian capital. The good news for them is that Liverpool remain erratic in defence, having conceded all of their last four goals in the second-half, but Roma need goals long before then!
-This is Liverpool’s tenth appearance in the semi-finals, and they have proceeded to the final on seven occasions. With a record of: W10, D7, L9, against Italian opposition, those Liverpool supporters who believe that history is meaningful will have reason to feel confident.
-While there are doubts about Liverpool’s progress after Roma’s two away goals, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has said: “There would have been work for us to do if we’d won 5-0 because Roma would have tried everything to strike back anyway.”
-In nine European home games against English opponents, Roma have a decent record of: W4, D2, L3. However, only the scoreline in the most recent of those wins (3-0 against Chelsea during this season’s group stage) would be of any use.
-Players to watch: Liverpool’s star winger Mohamed Salah, who spent two seasons at Roma, has scored ten CL goals so far – and has scored in eight out of his last nine games in all competitions.
-Edin Dzeko showed character in the aftermath of the first-leg defeat, after scoring twice against Chievo in his last game to maintain potency.
-Stat attack: The Reds currently have 38 goals in total from 11 CL games, which is tantalisingly close to the record average 46 goals from 16 games, recorded by Barcelona.
-There will undoubtedly be more goals here. Taking all competitions into account, eight of Liverpool’s last ten matches have produced over 2.5 goals.
My prediction:
AS Roma 3-2 Liverpool
And what do you think when the match will end ???
I hope that there will be lots of goals. I think it might be AS Roma 4 - 4 Liverpool.

I think Liverpool wins this game 4-2, the only way Roma can qualify is by winning by a 3 goal difference (of course if it goes 6-3 Liverpool would qualify), but to score three goals you have to go all out in attack, and unlike Barcelona who can't score a goal if there aren't a lot of side way passes, Liverpool can take advantage of free space in the back zone in two strokes.
I do admire the way Roma plays and they still could make it, just that I see the odds are against them.
