Last week Barcelona went through their main obstacle in El Classico on their way to new record. No one ever before has not won La Liga without a single loss. Home 5-1 victory against Villareal became another big step of Catalan Giant to reach the ultimate height. Messi’s artful goal assisted by Iniesta was amazing though, and Dembele probably spent his best game in Barcelona shirt so far.
- Barcelona extended the unbeaten run against Villareal up to 18 games
- Catalans now have 90 points which make them 15 point clear at the top
- To set the new record Barca need to avoid the defeat in 2 last matches against Levante and Real Sociedad
Their champions league campaign aside, they are played some of the best football this season. I wouldn't be surprised if they have an invisible season without any loss. I'm not a Barca fan though but kudos to them for doing well this season
