Largely unfamiliar for the most of World Cup audience, 22-year-old full-back became a core player in Didier Deschamps’ squad with 6 appearances in 7 games and scoring purely magnificent curling effort against Argentina – his first international goal ever. Capping the delightful rapid counter, he received a cross from fellow left-back Lucas Hernandez, Pavard produced sublime finish with his righ foot right to the top corner.

Among 169 goals scored during the 2018 World Cup this one rose to the very top. Yes, he should won it. Amazing shot!
