From Japanese perspective such a gift is a very big honor for the player to be awarded with a gift from such well-respected master. Takahashi is famous for creating his famous Captain Tsubasa manga that was absolutely huge in Japan in 1980s. It was also huge in Spain though, so Torres really should be delighted of such portrait. We just wonder – why he's depicted in his Atletico shirt?
