Pre-season friendly between Inter Milan and Zenit St. Petersburg unexpectedly became a most spectacular game of the weekend as players of both sides scored 6 goals on aggregate and most of them was exceptionally good. Antonio Candreva scored a stunning opener from outside the box soon equalized by Christian Noboa's fine strike. In the second half Zenit players scored two belters in row – Robert Mak bagged a piledriver into the top near corner from the close-range and then Hernani smashed unstoppable screamer from the 25 meters – the best goal of the game. Final score of the friendly game turned into real thriller – 3:3.

  • Inter boss Luciano Spalletti was the maneger or Zenit from 2009 to 2014
