Another big night of Champions League final match turned into big win for Real Madrid who brushed aside brave Liverpool (3:1) in action-packed game. A stunner from came-off-the-bench Gareth Bale, two horrendous howlers from poor Loris Karius, shit-tackle on Mohammed Salah by mean Sergio Ramos, great midfield battles and generally good football from both sides – we’ve seen all that yesterday in Kyiv.
Real Madrid, an absolute favorite before the game, became the first club to win European top club competition for 3 consecutive seasons since Bayern Munich did the same in 70s. It’s a pity to see Liverpool losing like that after their impressive campaign but their goalkeeping was beyond our capacity to describe it.
- Zinedine Zidane won the game using the same starting 11 as in the Champions League 2017 final against Juventus
- This Champions League title is 4th for Real Madrid in last 5 years
Like i said in some comments, the more experienced team will win.
Unfortunate night for Karius, but i think Real Madrid deserved the win.
I don't think i will live the day to see another team winning 3 consecutive Champions leagues, they made history.
This Champions League just finished but i'm impatient for the next one, when i think Real Madrid will "pass" the torch to another team like Barcelona or Bayern Munchen.

Predictable victory, yes. Even Reds fans had to admit that Bale's first goal was pure delight
