Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 500th career goal in-style against DC United

in football •  7 years ago

While Sweden international team makes their new World Cup history in the knockout stages, super forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is busy with setting his own records. Indeed, big Swede took less that 5 minutes to score a goal for LA Galaxy against DC United with a great volley that became the 500th in his legendary career of 870 matches across 19 years. Cool goal, great achievement.

Still, Zlatan became only the 28th football player in history to reach such mark. To became best Swede in the list he needs to score at least 14 more to beat the record of AC Milan legend Gunnar Nordahl who netted 513 goals in 1950s.

Sweden will be better with him at the World Cup

He is old ,and can not withstand the pressures of worldcup .he went for major league soccer because he us going to retire soon .so he gave the younger players room to play.

And he will give more goals because the league is not that heard like premier league.

Zalatan is a goal scoring machine.
