Napoli have named their price for Liverpool target Piotr Zielinski. It is no secret that the Reds are in the race for a midfielder and have been associated with, numerous players. Zielinski is the most recent addition to the Merseyside club's growing list of summer targets.

The Polish midfielder has played a significant role for Napoli this campaign, making 24 appearances and netting 4 times in the league.

According to the news, Liverpool had a £11.5million proposal snubbed by Udinese in the summer of 2016, with the Polish midfielder deciding to join Napoli instead.

Zielinski has developed since his move to the Serie A side, and with recent rumours associating him again with a move to Anfield, Napoli have slapped a £57.3million price tag on the player as they're desperate to keep him at the club.

Earlier this week, Poland legend Zbigniew Boniek praised the 23-year-old compatriot and claimed that he is already better than Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne.

Boniek’s remarks came after Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri honoured the player as the successor to Manchester City star De Bruyne.

Indeed, the Reds need a quality midfielder, with Emre Can most likely to leave the Anfield at the end of the season. The German international has been in superb form this campaign and should he leave in the summer, Jurgen Klopp's side will need a top-class replacement.
