CONFEDERATION OF AFRICAN FOOTBALL (CAF) IS A BODY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT,COORDINATING AND SUPERVISING ALL FOOTBALL RELATING ISSUES CONCERNING AFRICAN FOOTBALL. AFRICA IS BELIEVED TO BE ONE OF THE BEST CONTINENT ENDOWED WITH ABUNDANT TALENTS OF YOUNG FOOTBALLERS. THESE TALENTS ARE NOT PROPERLY EARNESTS DUE TO HIGH LEVEL OF CORRUPTION, INCOMPETENCE AND POOR ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE.
JUST DAYS BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE JUST CONCLUDED CUP OF NATIONS, THE FOOTBALL GOVERNING BODY WAS DROWNED INTO ALLEGATION OF CORRUPTION AND MISMANAGEMENT.
