This year is turning out to be one of the best mushroom years in a long time. Just stumbled onto a good sized Shaggy Mane (Coprinus comatus) patch. These specimens will be sliced and dried. Any that have started to turn to ink will be turned into powder for use as a flavouring agent. Oh if you plan on drying shaggys you will need to blanch them first or they will turn to black goo in the dehy.
