“The shields and running boards are positioned and secured to the brackets.”
Plant interior with workers on assembly line assembling Model T Fords.
“The chassis is now ready for the body, which is lowered into position by a crane.”
Crane lowers frame onto chassis.
“A creeper is provided for the man who secures the fenders.”
“The radiator is then installed.”
Men install radiator.
(Workers perform the actions indicated after the following captions…)
“The car then drops from the conveyor to the starting platform, where the radiators are filled and the hood is put on.”
“Starting is accomplished by setting the control lever in the high speed position, the power being applied through the rear wheels.”
Worker on assembly line attaches engine to chassis, attaches gas tank.
“When the gas tank is secured, a gallon of gasoline is put into it.”
