Free timmies after an evening of frivolity at the shelter and two sermons in the morning.

I gave my last 35 cents at st pauls on Bloor this morning. I felt I did not want for anything. I had originally planned on going to the church on the corner just down from the shelter.
Going with the flow however ended me up at st James .
Approaching the church, I touched the broken glass and the metal insignia revealed just a little bit better after 100+ years under the Toronto sun. I'm making it into my daily ritual. Rituals are important to anyone that is or has suffered from addiction or mental health experiences in their life.

Centenarians are ritualistic beings.

The insignia, is a red Christian cross.

It's on the end of the wrought iron fence on the west end . Maybe this winter, was when the glass that's covered the insignia finally cracked enough to come lose.

Cracked like my hands after a month living without a roof of the steady kind over my head.

Don't feel bad for me.

I'm not an addict. My focus is not on getting high.

Not on crack or street drugs anyway.

I'm high on life and living .

How about you?

Oh, I found a roll up the rim after I left grace church on Carlton at sherbourne.

And here I sit, at timmies, contemplating a bit.

On sin (am I missing the mark?) and if the rain pelting down was just like the drops that floated the ark.

I hope and pray that the man I gently cajoled into willingly allowing us to call ems for this morning gets the help he needs in every way from the staff at st Michaels hospital. Pneumonia is not a great thing to be dealing either when your cracked and broken by drugs and the weather in our fine city.

Cf-2018 new beginnings happen every time you open you're eyes.
