Dusty Divot is one of the new location created on Tuesday during the launch of season 4. It can be complete chaos if you don't know where to land or what to do so it is critical to know that if you choose to go there. If you use these tips then you should have 2-6 kills when going out of Dusty depending on how aggressive you were.
Landing
Dusty Divot is kind of a tricky place because you have to make sure you aren't to low, but you also need to be low enough to be one of the first to get a gun. To do that I recommend auto-deploying your glider just past the river to land perfectly over the place I will talk about next.
Where To land
The best place to land is pictured below and I call it the chest chamber. It has two chest spawns and one or two floor spawns. It also has a floor spaw on top of the chamber which you can quickly grab before opening up the chests inside. It is right next to the helicopter if you need to quickly find it when landing in Dusty Divot.
Next Moves
After landing and going to the chest chamber than you should break the back of the chamber and then break the fence behind it. After doing that consume a hop rock. When you do that there are two courses of actions that are beneficial to take.
Patroling the meteor can be a good way to rack up a couple of kills if you have resources, an AR and a shotgun. If you don't have all of these it will be hard to kill everybody there. It depends on the situation but usually, if you have less then 100 resources then it will be hard to defeat people who are using hop rocks.
The other thing you can do is going back into the middle of the divot and picking people of there. You should never do this if you don't have a shotgun or pistol because you will be utterly destroyed without a close-range weapon. If you are going to go to the middle of the divot than you need to have some resources so if someone is shooting at you, you can build and kill them, thus winning the fight.
