According to Epic, the Drum Gun is a “new weapon with a high capacity drum magazine and a quick rate of fire.” The Drum Gun does about twice the damage at a little more than half the fire rate of the SMG in Fortnite, with a significantly larger magazine. It is more closely compared to a fast firing AR.
