More posts about secretly recording your conversations

Here are more posts to show you that you can record your conversations with the CFS/CPS workers and others. CPS/CFS workers often lie, they often misrepresent and they are often unaccountable for tearing families apart.

Here is a article that encourages parents to record their conversations. The article mentions how the workers and local authorities will try and discourage people from doing this citing confidentiality but there is nothing in law stating you cannot record your meeting with CPS/CFS workers. The article states that you should tell them your are recording them but can secretly record them. It says that social workers that remain professional have nothing to fear. The article is quoted as stating "We are often asked whether recordings of meetings with social workers are allowed, and the reasons for the requests vary. Some families find it hard to grasp all of the information they are given in a meeting and need that recording to be able to process the contents of the meeting at a pace that is right for them. Others have experienced negative or unprofessional behaviour from the team members involved and wish to protect themselves from illegal or unethical practice. And some find that their communications in previous meetings have been so badly transcribed or translated, that recordings are imperative to avoid further error."

Here is an article that says many police interviews are recorded and states that CPS/CFS meetings should be recorded as well. The article is quoted as "When you are arrested and interviewed, it's tape recorded. I know social work meetings are sometimes typed up, but should they be recorded, in peoples homes and meetings etc." I would go further and say the child protection workers should wear body cameras. As many of them lie and misrepresent and are not held accountable for what they say and do.

Here is a article about recording conversations at work. I will quote the parts that are relevant. In a world of their word against yours, they will likely always win. You must obtain your own evidence. The article is quoted as "The fact of the matter is that, having actual documentary evidence of events will generally make your case stronger. Without having documentary evidence, whether in the form of written, audio or even video documentation, a Court will be faced with the task of having to judge the credibility of the parties and witnesses themselves based on their own word." And
"This can essentially come down to a “he said / she said” assessment of an individual’s recollection of events, whereby a Judge may simply prefer one side of the story over the other. Having a recorded conversation of your boss actually mistreating you – straight from the horse’s mouth – can be very material evidence if it is relevant to the issues at dispute, whether coming from an employee or employer."

Here is an older post of mine that shows in other places in Canada you can absolutely record your CFS/CPS workers.

So in other places in Canada it is perfectly legal to record yet the lawyers at Tapper&Cuddy and CFS in Manitoba think otherwise. Manitoba has the most kids in care in the western world. Also it has many victims of child sexual assault and sexual exploitation and this abuse took place as wards of child and family services.

Someone has to stop them. Someone has to answer for the assault against families. They cannot act untouchable and unaccountable.
