Cambridge Blockchain, identity startup has shut a $7 million Series A round spearheaded by HCM Capital, the spending arm of the Taiwanese industrialized giant Foxconn Technology Group.
Depending on Tuesday's announcement, Foxconn is "investigating deployments" of software built by Cambridge Blockchain to enhance the management of global supply chains and connected devices.
Other participants in the funding round include Digital Currency Group and Partech Ventures, both of which also invested in Cambridge Blockchain's $2 million subsidy round in February 2017.
