FRAMED: Colored Gel and Acrylic Portrait Photography Shoot
Concept
The concept of this shoot was colored gel lighting. Taking different flash sources and covering them with a pigmented tint to see how we can color the subjects in different ways. Some of the acrylic was actually used as a gel cover for the flash as well. This brought together some odd and interesting images.
The culmination of several shoots combined made me come to the idea of combining these different sources of color. I hope you are able to look through each of the photos in the Images section and try to see something beautiful.
Setup
This was a unique setup. We took shots from acrylic only, to acrylic with gels, to gels and smoke, just gels and fan, etc. Many different combinations led to these different looks.
