Imagine how much more it will be after the deployment of electric cars. Still I don't think France is following the best model. They're still using old style reactors, these produce a lot of waste which they dump in the ocean, deep oceanic trenches but that's probably going to cause problems long run. It's also very wasteful. It's time to switch to molten salt reactors. For the foreseeable future they will actually have negative waste production. They'll be able to burn the nuclear waste of other reactors. Then finally when they do need nuclear fuel in another couple centuries, it's going to be tiny and short-lived. Unfortunately the US nuclear cartel aren't going to like this technology and they're going to fight it tooth and nail.
