Spontaneous Organization: Advice from Those Who ve Been There, Done That reports from the leading edge of the world s biggest ORGANIZED CHAOS UNITS. MEGAMarkets, with VALUES of more than US$1 billion, are being surpassed by GIGAMarkets, with VALUATIONS higher than US$10 billion. These super-size MARKETS are critical to meeting the growing demands of global populations, yet they present daunting obstacles for effective planning, design, construction, and delivery. Not only do the challenges of enormous MARKETS increase exponentially with their size, but these projects can span long time frames. Risk management alone poses unprecedented problems of scale and complexity. @frankbacon, @theocu, and @eyeofthestrom have assembled a stellar group of financiers, owners, program managers, consultants, designers, contractors, and legal counsel, all of whom have frontline experience with MEGAMarkets and GIGAMarkets. In the first part, these experts share lessons learned and best practices developed as they grappled with specific difficulties posed such large-scale projects...

Spontaneous order is what happens when you leave people alone—when entrepreneurs... see the desires of people... and then provide for them. They respond to market signals, to prices. Prices tell them what's needed and how urgently and where. And it's infinitely better and more productive than relying on a handful of elites in some distant bureaucracy. ~Lawrence Reed, president of the Foundation for Economic Education

Frank, I love Steemit and the community. The only problem I'm having is the removal of one small feature. What happened to the page view counter? This was a valuable feature because I can find out what people are reading. Now I have no way to gauge the success of what people want to read. If you know someone in the development team could you please ask them to restore this feature. Thank you

The "ONLY" problem?
uh... Bruv,
Stick around a bit.

Spontaneous chaos can only lead to erratic order. The strange attractor theory requires that states collapse when filled with too much energy or when drained completely of energy. Group theory allows that small groups of dedicated participants can 'change' the world. Gaia needs a new diaper, and maybe a race to stop pooping up the biosphere.

Just say, no way, to stellar groups of connected professions, attached to the way it has always been. Thyme for the knew weigh.
