Coalition of hope. I like this prompt. I think it could fun to write about a fictional "coalition of hope," and if I weren't so dead tired, perhaps I could do that. As it is, I'm so tired. So very tired. I was already tired earlier, then I did a bunch of physical labor, and now I'm just exhausted. And I'm emotionally exhausted. Not like as emotionally exhausted as I know so many people are right now, people who have lost their homes to these huge fires, but still emotionally exhausted. I've been thinking about our unhoused neighbors, and how we don't treat the problem of people not having houses, people living on the street or in tents, as the emergency that it is. We instead think of it as an unsolvable problem. Societally, I mean. And I'm sure there's a reason for that, that those in power want all of society to see homelessness as an unsolvable problem. Because solving it, really truly solving it, would mean an end to capitalism. But even with capitalism still so firmly entrenched, it's disgusting how little our leaders do to solve the problem of homelessness. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Well, my body is telling me five minutes should be up right about now, but I guess my internal clock is a little off because of how tired I am, because no timer is alarming. So I must type on and on until I hear that Alexa beep beep beep beep, beep beep beep beep. Oh and I forgot to turn the hot water kettle on. I could have just said kettle. How redundant I am when I'm tired. How fucking redundant. Geez louise when the heck is
