how to get started bringing in residual income from creating courses on skillshare.

so @alexvan left a nice comment on one of my post this morning about wanting to know a little more about making courses on skillshare. now while this video and course link on skillshare is over six months old it’s still pretty relevant, the quality of my courses has dramatically improved since then and actually it shows how process and determination can really help the end result. i hope this helps others get started on skillshare, it’s prompting me to make a new one now that i’m on year deep into this! :)

i’ve nearly made 100 courses over on skillshare in the last year (this was at my half way point, the courses have gotten better the more i did i think) - the courses are between quick 15 minutes up an hour, some of the new stuff is is much longer but i was asked about how i started so i shared my initial process here. .

making your first course for skillshare (13 mins)http://humble.link/firstcourse
get another 27 of my courses (free links included)http://humble.link/morefreecourses

it's took me a good year to mak

i’ll be releasing a new free link from more of my recent stuff over time, i’ll be using the #freecourse tag if you wanna get access for free to some of those courses, got some great pointers and information in there if you're interested.

i'm gonna drop my 31 days of december 2016 courses as a list for you as well soon (yes, i made 31 mini courses over 31 days of december, it made me about $500 for the month which was a nice uplift for january 2017) you can get them all for free via the link but if you want to get access to my new stuff grab the premium link and pay for you're subscription, so many great little courses on there where you can really learn some new skills if you really want to work for yourself, from home or anywhere you can get a remote connection. ..

There you go! Thank you for the value! Up- and Resteemed!

cheers buddy, like i said above this was when i had got half way into making, the new stuff i've made has a much better look, styling and i learned A LOT from doing, feedback, and i've got an even NEWER format that i've made with OBS Studio (obsproject.com) that should make learning a bit easier because i force people to make notes each section to really dial people in to getting stuff done.

Watched the video till the end. Is there another promo for refferals?
If you don't do notes, you easily just skip. Can you check if somebody is stuck at some part? To send him an email?

skillshare is a bit limited like that, my new courses are more broken down into sections, so for instance you do the first 30 minutes and then we have notes to take down and action and then you can decide to carry on or execute on that part depending how much time you have to spend in that moment. on skillshare on the course people can leave questions and we have a projects tab where people can send in projects they did but it's not very clear or effective so i tend to work with people at a person to person basis.

Ok, got it. Person to person is high value, especially for the one receiving the schooling.
Will follow it.

Off topic: what is the meep guy doing here?

meep guy? what's that? you have to verse me on the meep guy. .lol.

Is this account @ionlysaymeep who just says meep, but only meep :)) it is a mistery

oh i probably have it muted. i don't see stupid stuff.

of and you mentioned a promo referral, i think you can get a few months free this way using a credit card and you can decide after 60 days to carry on or close it down, you'll find SO many courses there, more than just mine -- https://www.skillshare.com/r/user/teamhumble
