I am a subscriber to a few financial advisory newsletters and if you are also, you would have seen this as well.

The newsletter referred to this article as a way to help retired seniors to earn income - most will need to work well past their retirement age.

So, am I posting this to make money from posting or from learning to drive for Uber?

First of all, ➊ this website is a great example and a model for those who wish to make money the same way that s/he does! And, ➋ I do not want to lose an opportunity for a teaching moment - or at least get your attention 🙃 🙄 😴.

These are the points of this post using this website to illustrate:

• ✨ Social [in]Security is BROKE 😲 !!! Haven't you heard 😫 ? No? It is just a matter of time for them to chip away the benefits - and they have already ✂ 💵 - don't you know 🙉?
• ✳ Even IF, a BIG IF, it does not go broke, the U$D looses value rapidly 💵 👎 cutting ✂ your purchasing power even you can collect Social [in]Security, which is not much to begin with!

• I am in no way promoting driving for Uber! No Sir / no Mam! 🚗 🚐 🚘 🚕 🚚 🚛 🚜 But, to each his / her own!

That's why many are holding physical silver and gold. Or, own land and real estate.

But, a step back from that absolute chaos, do you really own any of the online businesses or income streams?

How do you know?

• Do you have total control of it?
• Can you be shut down?
• Can you be banned?
• Can you be stopped from doing business your way, if otherwise legal?
• Do you have total control of your business information?

As far as I know, yes, only IF you own the website and the domain name.

The referenced website has ownership of all the money making elements:

• referral / affiliate links
• advertising
• any sales or subscriptions
• site statistics and user data

Do You Own <<YourName>>.com? Do You Own Valuable Domain Name(s) and Website(s)?
