Drug War. Fear. Libertarians. #TimesUp

in freedom •  7 years ago  (edited)

If there is no victim, there is no crime; for possession itself is never a crime. If you falsely arrest someone who has committed no crime, then YOU are the criminal. In the drug war, those who have chosen the side of Darwin instead of the side of the people, are the criminal aggressors standing on the wrong side of history, and they will be judged for the evil they have wrought upon this earth.

drug-war-cartoon.jpg

Today is Thursday January 18th, 2018 and you are listening to ADAM VS THE MAN coming to you live from cell D-27 at the Wise County Jail in Decatur, Texas behind drug war enemy lines. For 3 days I have been denied my basic human rights as a prisoner of the United States and international law. I have not been provided any paperwork about my case or my charges despite repeated requests; and I have not been allowed to meet with my attorney. My bail has been set at $80,000 which is to say that an innocent man has been kidnapped by the government and is being held for ransom.

The Wise County bond system is a shakedown racket that needs to go. They say that I can be released if I pay $6,000 of which I would never see again. They're doing this and harassing innocent Americans every day and the war on drug users because they want us to be afraid. Well, in the Marines, they forgot to teach us to be afraid. They taught us not to negotiate with terrorists, and certainly not acquiesce to their demands without a fight.

Well today I would rather fight than buy my freedom. Thanks to our supporters on Steemit, we have raised more than enough money to pay off the terrorists, but I have instructed my staff to donate that money to the Libertarian Party instead. If you're not already, please become a member of the LP by going to www.LP.org.

I'm also excited to announce two nominations for the party, but first, the reasons. I am running for the Libertarian Party nomination of president in 2020 in order to dissolve the entire federal government in a peaceful and orderly manner. My opposition is the pro-pedophile Bill weld, who is launching his campaign unofficially this weekend with a documentary produced by a convicted pedophile. As if that wasn't bad enough, Bill weld is also a Hillary Clinton supporter. You would think that being a big government Massachusetts Republican would disqualify him from representing Libertarians.

Which brings us to our next two pedophilia protectors in the party, chair Nick Sarwark, and Vice Chair Arvin Vohra. Sarwark has already defended Cara Schultz who was hired recently as a candidate recruiter despite the fact that she has publicly defamed LP candidates including myself without apology or retraction. In 2018, it's time to clear house at the top of the LP. If we are to be the party of principle, we must rid ourselves of liars like Cara Schultz. We must universally condemn and reject candidates like pro pedophile Bill weld. We must make it clear that someone like Vice Chair Arvin Vohra does not represent us when he publicly supports pedophilia. We must not let a pedophile sympathizer, protector of liars, or even someone who is not willing to stand up to the establishment like Nick Sarwark lead our party to ruin. We must not allow ourselves to be vulnerable to infiltration from political enemies or COINTEL PRO type government agents.

So I am happy today to announce my nomination of two of my longtime friends, as well as longtime friends of the party and freedom itself, Erin Adams of Oklahoma for LNC chair, and Carla Howell of Massachusetts for Vice Chair. I hope they will join me in ensuring that the LP can be all that it can be. We must hang together or surely, we will all hang separately. They have subjected me to this recent and Justice because they want us to be afraid, to cower, and to feel small and weak. However, the "Freedom!" movement gets bigger and stronger every single day; despite the fact that I was set up for false arrest on the day that I announce my candidacy. There has been a shameful mainstream media blackout of this incident, but I am sure they will be happy to cover pro-pedophile Bill Weld and his pedophile coming out documentary, because they want Americans to think that's what represents Libertarians.

We will still have to work extra hard to get our message out and demand that the mainstream media portray us fairly with equal time just like the old parties, and interpreted honestly as champions of a message of universal human rights, ethics, peace, and love. Maybe they never will because they know that if the American people knew they had a choice that they could vote for freedom, that if they finally had a choice to vote for no one to be president and finally free America, they will.

Time is up. The game is almost over. The Libertarian Party far better represents the American people better than the Democrats or Republicans. There are more Americans who believe in Freedom from the drug war. There are more Americans who believe in freedom from the terror war. There are more Americans who believe in freedom from the government.

And that is why an American Freedom will win!

Thank you for listening, and please go to www.thefreedomline.com to join the fight!

Great post! I'll check out your book!

Are the folks who gave the money to you for bail cool with you giving it away?

It doesn't really matter if they're cool with it or not...do you plan on asking EVERY member who has ever upvoted your posts if they are cool with what you're doing with your earnings...I didn't think so. Those who are unhappy with the results of the crypto they donated can forego making a donation in the future...

the reason i asked was i think one guy gave him 6k in steem bucks, but you're right, if the guy was unhappy he probably wouldn't give again.

That is quite a bit...but usually when someone donates that much, they don't really care what is done with the scratch...they're a huge fan and they think of it as an obligation...but who knows, maybe the guy will be upset enough not to donate in the future.

Well said!

Thank-you!

Seriously

#legend #kokesh2020 #freedom Glad to hear you are fighting it brother, this is a violation of your rights @adamkokesh. If you need anything else please let me know. I will do what I can to help out.

@korymanx and friends are currently standing outside Adam's jail with an AK-47.
So wish I was there with y'all.

The day that the governed realize they outgun the governing...politicians and government agents will shit their pants!

This is starting to make me very nervous. I'm glad Adam isn't reporting having been assaulted or abused so far. However, I fear his kidnappers might soon indulge their more violent and exploitative tendencies.

I'm glad to know Adam is remaining strong and fighting for his freedom rather than paying the ransom, but I really hope he is free VERY soon.

I don't think this is the case at all. I called and spoke to an officer and a Sargent. It is my impression that they are not going to let that happen though they are enforcing jail standards as stipulated by Texas law. The real problem lies in the arrest. Why was Adam pulled over twice in one hour? Why were multiple officers sent for a minor infraction? Why was a K9 there as well. How did they know where he was? They must have known he was alone so they could plant evidence. All these factors point to a setup. Highway Patrol passed him onto the county jail who would have no idea and are following procedure. I am not saying that the procedure is lawful and ethical but they are just following through and not part of the conspiracy against Adam.

Your fears are not based in reality. Adam is somebody who is well-known in several circles...the minute they assault/abuse him, their case against him loses. Were he just another Joe Blow from Fiddlefart Texas, then you might have reason to worry.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

I hope you're right about that.

Stay strong Adam.

"the side of Darwin instead of the side of the people"
I had no idea they were at odds!

I don't know about Adam's beliefs, but I am aware of massive conspiracy around Darwin, and the dogmatic protection of it in the face of evidence that is less than supportive.

how is against the people? there are those that are aware of their divine connection, our ability to create with our minds, and don't want you to have it. Darwinism is a part of that plan to separate you from divine energy, by getting you to believe you are an accident of nature.

ultimately, it is all about exploiting you. the war on drug creates value out of conflict. those with stolen power use that conflict to profit both in the selling and fight against it.

I think that must be it.

That seemed weird to me too. It's supposed to say "the side of government" I believe.
If you listen to the podcast that's what it says. Looks like a talk-to-text typo. :)
But I guess typos happen when you're kidnapped, caged, and have your things stolen.

I totally agree. Those with substance abuse problems, don't need to be locked in prison! Prison doesn't address the real abuse problems, that many people KNOW they have yet CANNOT free themselves with addiction.

How about, trying to actually HELP people with addictions, with counseling instead of locking them up and throwing away the key? :(

Re-steemed and upvoted! Keep fighting the fight, yall!

Did you read all of this?

Yeah, that would be the sensible things to do but Government isn't interested in that.

They say that I can be released if I pay $6,000 of which I would never see again.
Are you talking about "bail"? If you pay it they will let you out and when you go to court and resolve your charges you can get it back.

that sounds kind of like what he meant. No doubt small town hell Texas can be crooked, but uh...yeah, that's how bail works.

Agreed

He wouldn't get that back, I'm sure the 6 is the fee on borrowing the 80, and you would get the 80 back but have to pay the bail bondsmen the 6 when you do.

so his bail is $80,000 what is he charged with?

Planted drugs.

how many plants?

In this case the word planted refers to the action of the police, who 'planted' the drugs in his vehicle, like a farmer 'plants' seeds.

You don't get a deposit back from a bondsman. That is their fee for putting up the $80k that is the actual bail amount.

you don't get bail set at 80,000 for a personal use amount of drugs.

The bail was $80k, so I could post $80k if I had it and get it back, or I could pay a bondsman $6k and never get any back.

Ridiculous conspiracy theorizing and whining.

Boooo! Lol

FREEDOM!

FREEDOM FREEDOM...!!!! I'm impressed by the content of your writing @adamkokesh

I would rather fight than buy my own freedom,i love this

I understand your frustration with the federal government. Believe me.
As a Libertarian myself, I too believe that we need a very limited government, rather than what our federal government has become: a bloated bureaucracy that spends way too much money we don't have, either printed or borrowed from countries that are not true allies, on programs and agencies (foreign and domestic) we don't need. However, if you understand human history, it is not possible to exist peacefully without some form of government. Otherwise the inevitability is anarchy, which is among the gravest assaults on the liberties of the individual and of the minority. Anarchy is a vehicle that yields only to mob rule at the very expense of the minority. If men were angels, then they wouldn't need government. Men are not angels, therefore we need government.
I think it's important to understand that the U.S. Constitution is a document meant preserve liberty through its very framing and structure or government; by separation of powers and of checks and balances. Sure we have a Bill of Rights, but a Bill of Rights is only as good as the framed government to back and uphold it.
While yes, we often times see many abuses and perversions due to corruption, but it's nothing that can't be undone through legislative, judicial, and/or executive process.
Imagine how much worse our problems would be if the Federal Government was dissolved? And if you dissolved it, what would replace it?

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Nothing. What's the problem? State government isn't big enough for you?

I am absolutely in favor of State government's rights. But to dissolve the Federal Government, and to just have individual state governments sounds a lot like the Articles of Confederation...and we know that failed and was replaced by 1789.

Why don't you just be frank and tell everyone you want rulers and to rule people?

What are your thoughts on the recent shutdown?

We don't need rulers to have rules.

I rule myself every day without needing masters to tell me what to do.

Government isn't the problem, it's when you let people govern you that it becomes a problem.

Govern yourself. You have to whether you want to or not. You don't need anyone to tell you that.

The only checks and balances left is the balance of power between ruling parties, who carefully tiptoe around powers that would crush them, while crushing everything they can get away with.

"Imagine how much worse our problems would be if the Federal Government was dissolved? And if you dissolved it, what would replace it?"

Freedom.

Bueno, es un buen punto de vista, pero la degradación social y moral esta exterminando las sociedades.

Well said that’s why we need more people like you in society, you have done a great job creating this content..

Great

Drug abuse is stupid, but prohibition is evil.

(Notice I say "abuse", not "use".)

Image

The real problem with prohibition is that it is the abdication of regulation and thus the problems we see as a result of prohibition: overdoses, disease transmission, gangs, cartels and terrorists are caused by a lack of sensible government regulations. It would and still should be illegal for armed children to sell unlabeled bags of toxic powder intended for human injection on the street corner without any taxes or permits.

Even if you had permits and taxes for peddling hard drugs on street corners, you'd still have criminals operating permit-less black markets, if for no other reason than tax evasion. Your logic has already been applied to guns...we are required to jump through several unnecessary hoops just to get a permit to buy a gun...and yet criminals fail to abide by any of those restrictions.

I am sure I didn't suggest that there would be peddling of drugs on street corners, I said that would not be legal. Excessive taxation is indistinguishable from prohibition. Taxes have to be reasonable, you don't see most products on the black market because they have reasonable taxes and avoiding them is a bigger risk than just paying them. We see this effect in states where pot is legal but they have absurd taxes that make it so people just continue to go to the same tax free dealer they went to before. If the taxes were reasonable they would not have better prices. My logic has not at all been applied to guns, that's called a straw man argument. If you applied my logic to guns there would be no black market for them either, the black market for guns is created by prohibiting certain people from being allowed to buy them legally, I am sure I never suggested any such prohibitions.

All the laws and current regulations haven't stopped them. You think add adding more would help, ehh?

All the laws and current regulations have created them. Prohibition created them. I think doing away with those laws and treating drugs like every other product would get rid of them. Walgreens and CVS can sell drugs across the street from one another without their employees shooting it out right?
When was the last time a drug you bought at Walmart was cut with baby laxative?

So...if we legalize street drugs, the criminals will start wearing smocks and stop shooting at each other...?

guinness-brilliant.jpg

So if we legalize street drugs, Walmart and Amazon will put the Crips, the cartels and the terrorists out of business. If teenagers want to sell drugs they will need to get a job at Walgreens or CVS.

It's an important distinction, but we need to decriminalize, not legalize. Fuck legalization. It is a control and theft (tax) mechanism.

Control and tax are what is missing in the narcotics market now. Mostly people die because those things are lacking. Either by being killed by a gang member or by being killed by an impure, inconsistent, unlabeled product. Something in a baggie of unknown purity or consistency and you don't even know what it is cannot be safely injected. You get that right?

You just defined damn near everything Big Pharma gets passed through the FDA...you do realize that right?

As @justusagenstum already pointed out, have you heard of the FDA? They have plenty of control, yet they regularly make terrible decisions when it comes to people's health. It is a racket for corporatism and profit regardless of the damage done to an individual's health.

The government taxes and controls tobacco and alcohol and countless other substances that kill untold amounts of people each year. Go look up prescription drug deaths as another example. Doctors prescribing FDA approved pain killers kill thousands of people a year.

Hows all their control working out?

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Also, if someone laces a product they sell with poison, some other harmful substance, or sells horse tranquilizers instead of heroin, they should be held criminally liable. The consensual transaction by itself or using the substance you wanted to buy isn't a crime however.

a very exciting bout I think.
it's time to make a change

Well you got one thing right, Bill Weld is a huge sack of shit and totally not remotely libertarian in his ideals.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Well, unless drugs are legalized, possession alone, especially of "harder" drugs like coke or speed, does have victims, you just don't see them. It is almost guaranteed that someone, somewhere in the world was harmed, or killed, getting that drug to you. If you grow weed or mushrooms in your own closet, then yeah, true victimless crime. Anything which passes through many hands, there is a victim somewhere.

yup, all the money Hezbollah was allowed to make smuggling cocaine into the US by Obama was spent on weapons that no doubt were used to harm people.

That can be said for many of the commodities consumed by people in the First World. Even things that seem innocuous, such as coffee and chocolate can come to us on the backs of many people suffering toil and exploitation.

Definitely, no doubt about that. You are right, much blood has been spilled for coffee and sugar.

I wish you well Adam. We need more people like you in the society who can speak for the majority fearlessly. Thanks for sharing this post with us.

Look into jury nullification. Great read!

Jury nullification ONLY works if you are a member of the jury...it serves no purpose when you are the defendant. The mere mention of jury nullification, in a court room or in close proximity to a courthouse, can be grounds for further legal action.

If I get chosen to be on jury, I'll bring it up. No victim, no crime!

If you bring it up during voir dire, I guarantee they'll excuse you and escort you to the door...they may even clear the jury pool and reschedule the trial after seating a new jury. I get what you're saying, and I'm down with that...but there are two ways to go about jury nullification; the right way, and the wrong way...wait until you are chosen for the jury, then you can bring up jury nullification if you feel it applies to that case...

That's just my two cents...I've seen both attempts, and those who try and shout it from the top of the courthouse stairs are often removed and threatened with charges...whereas, those who work it from inside a case they feel warrants it, always have a better chance of making it stick....

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

I get it. I just get keyboard commando syndrome sometimes. I would puss out I'm sure. But I would be singing F da police in my mind while hearing the case.

I feel ya there...lol

sounds like a good way to get out of jury duty.

It is a good way to get out of jury duty...if you don't want to participate...but it's also a good way to keep the system in check and more people need to be made aware of it. Several of the laws we live by are considered unconstitutional...people are convicted based on adherence to "the letter of the law," without realizing the law allows them to "upset the apple cart," as it were, when deciding the fate of a defendant brought before them.

I have already put one guy in prison, he totally deserved it, we were lucky that we had a lawyer on the jury with us.

All I can say about that is, the defendant should've fired the court appointed peon and hired a lawyer good enough at voir dire to excuse a lawyer called upon to serve jury duty.

Positive attitude and motivation should spread and people should think about
mankind not for the piece of land and personal things. It's Interesting post, kept me engaged
You are really a good script writer

resteem your post

I like your post

Very good post, great idea. Thank you for you're post!

yes nice
unity is strong

Ten years ago, as a teenager, I was locked up and spent months in solitary confinement because of a small amount of marijuana. Today I am using medicinal marijuana to alleviate symptoms of PTSD from the solitary confinement.. all in Arizona.

Good stuff my man. Get that message out & fear not. We've got your back bro!

That's a mighty lofty goal...

I am running for the Libertarian Party nomination of president in 2020 in order to dissolve the entire federal government in a peaceful and orderly manner.

...you do realize that unless you unseat ALL career politicians from the predominant two party system, your chances of dissolving any arm of the federal government are slim, none, and never...these people OWN the military, and the military enjoys a lofty position under this two-party political scheme...it's highly doubtful they are going to support any efforts to dismantle the very thing that offers them protection...how do you plan on achieving this goal...?

Check out the platform at KokeshForPresident.com and all of your questions here will be answered and you will see that we don't need to unseat them one at a time.

I'll definitely check it out!
Thanks!
:)

Great futuristic one from the libertian coming to free Americans from the terror been inflicted on them but in general putting somone in jail without freedom of seeking his attorney is the height of struggle in life and making him get a bail out on negotiation basis its a bad government to be specific and i appreciate steemit had to be a helping hand. Sure freedom is mandatory for Americans especially the black that they treat as trash and get locked for no just reason. All i believe is that one day there would be time where everyone wont be forced by the government beyond their will. Aslong karma is constant freedom is sure and fighting for your right is the only key..thanks for sharing whats needed to be known ✊ we are really living in a war zone.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

That's just showing perfectly how fucked up the concept of "government" or rather oppressors is.

Life is one and everyone makes what they want with their earnings

good post....
carry on
thanks for sharing

Good

You seem like a really stand up guy. I love the message and it is crazy that the libertarian party does not get more support considering almost anyone you talk to agree with most everything that the party stands for.

I hope that you can become the first non-president and demolish, the idiocratic system that sets the standard for almost all the other countries around the world. Because if the USA free themselves, everyone else will find the strength to free themselves. All my support brother

the war an drugs is complete bull shit and its all about money at the end of the day.... they have not gotten anywhere with the war on drugs exxept for ruining normal lifes of people just trying to survive in this world.... if you get caught with a small amount of drugs i think you should not get incarcerated for what you do to your own body.. its complete failure ... if its hard drugs then offer help.... not a university for crime.... go in to prison with a bachelor in marijuana and leave with a masters in cocaine and organized crime ..... "quote from movie Blow"

Interesting blog

Bravo!! More please. My brain is not full.

I totally agree I called my Senator's office today and talk to them about how I wanted to support the bill that would make marijuana federally legal and expunged all marijuana-related charges and incarceration.

If possessing drug is a crime regardless of the amount then states like California has committed a crime due to marijuana legalization. Trudeau legalizing marijuana in Canada is also commission of a crime. Then these corrupt politiciabs should be jailed for condoning, propagating and perpetuating crimes in their own backyard. People do not answer to politicians. Politicians answer to the people and be held accountable for their corrupt policies and working against the people who elected them. Fire and punish corrupt politicians who want to create a shithole of their beautiful country.

I would think that Marines are taught to assess the strength of the enemy, and one's own, and avoid confrontations that present poor odds.

$6k is cheap for freedom.

You're going to find it very difficult to prepare a defense from in a cell. Considering how much lawyers cost, you'd make that $6k back in mere days doing some legal research on your case.

Considering how you will compromise your defense by not taking advantage of a financial opportunity to bail out, that most people do not have, I reckon it is a foolish thing to do.

Good luck!

Wrong. I ended up being able to bond out without giving up any money because I waited them out and they wanted to get me out of jail as soon as possible.

More on how you can get your political freedom here
