As much as I want medical care to be decentralized, the reality is that the medical system has become so entrenched with bureaucracy that we are decades away from unraveling it. The problem is that there are so many different aspects to medical care including insurance of patients, physicians, providers, liability, quality of care, licensing, etc., that just saying, "Let's make it all free market," isn't going to work right now. I used to think it was simple enough that getting government out of it would be the solution, but unfortunately, that's not the case. The inevitable solution is getting government out of medical care, but before we do that, we as libertarians or anarchists really need to understand the breadth and depth of all the issues involved in the medical industry. If anyone is interested, I would highly recommend the following hornbook to begin to grasp the intersection of all these issues: https://www.amazon.com/Health-Law-Hornbooks-Barry-Furrow/dp/0314289070
