Thank you for explaining the difference between happiness and pleasure, something many people confuse in their pursuit of happiness. Since I was 12 years old, I've analysed and thought much of this concept. Since, I've lived through very challenging times and can now say that happiness were those times I wasn't suffering only I wasn't aware of them then. I am a happier person today because I try to live a more conscious life and steer myself back to this state whenever I divert from this state by becoming frustrated, disappointed or resentful. You are right, happiness can be found at every moment in the simplest things in life. The difference is in our perspective

Overcoming difficulties can lead us to becoming more grateful about our lives and seeing life from a gratitude perspective is for me the path to happiness
