Freedom Revolution

Iranians have started a revolution for freedom and against totalitarianism that has devastated the nation under the religious dictatorship of the clerics since the end of the Pahlavi era in 1979.

Iranians are now praising the founder of the Pahlavi dynasty; King of kings "Reza Shah The Great" known as the "Father of the new Iran".

The new Iranian revolution started with a protest gathering and demonstration on Thursday 28th of December 2017 in Mashhad expanding to over 100 cities in Iran within a few days.

On the 1st day of demonstrations Iranian youth chanted "Reza Shah happiness for your soul" in front of Goharshad mosque, the site of a bloody protest by the clergy in 1935 against reforms and modernizations led by Reza Shah The Great.
Young Iranians in many cities including Qom chanted for the return of the Shah.

While Iranian demonstrators shouted they don't want an Islamic republic, some chanted for an Iranian republic.

Through their chants during the long marches, huge gatherings and national demonstrations and via their gadgets throughout the international arena of social media sites Iranian youths say "it's over ...the theocracy has collapsed ... Iran shall be free soon."

"Down with the dictator", "Death or Freedom" and slogans against the clergy have been dominant by Iranians seeking a Free Iran.

Iranians also chanted in support of the Pahlavi royal dynasty and the heir to the throne; Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi.

Iranians in 2016 during a national gathering by the tomb of Cyrus The Great at Pasargadae in a rare if not unprecedented historical event since the 1979 revolution chanted in support of the Shah.

The Crown Prince known by Iranians as The New Shah, some calling him Reza Shah II, others Cyrus Shah Pahlavi or Pahlavi III while some others refer to him as the Prince and again there are others who simply call him Reza Pahlavi is considered as an inclusive alternative and a unifying symbol encircling the entire nation and representing a non-ideological, non-religious, progressive modern free Iran.

The Iranian marches, gatherings and demonstrations for liberty also remembered Neda who has turned into a symbol of freedom for the Iranian nation.

At least 25 people mostly young have been reported killed while reports indicate thousands have been arrested.

Many agree the new Iranian revolution could only triumph when the demonstrations are accompanied by national strikes and once the armed forces join the people.

There is a saying that there are always at least 7 kings in the world; 2 kings of chess, 4 kings of cards and the king of Persia or Iran who is the King of kings.
