One Amish man from Michigan, Timothy Hochstedler, has recently started his own version of Uber, instead of car-sharing though he's come up with a horse and buggy operation (see image above).
For only $5, he's offering rides to interested parties in the area of Colon, Michigan; dropping passengers off right at their doorstep.
His operation isn't officially affiliated with the Uber company. He has only referred to it as the Amish Uber and admitted that he came up with the idea as a solution to the need in the region for ride services.
To get a ride from his operation the passengers are required to flag him down on the street when they see him. Trying to organize a ride in this method might not be considered a convenient service for many today, but he says that the service is already a big hit.
For anyone in the region who cannot drive, shouldn't be driving, or who is looking for some easy and cheap transportation option etc, the man behind the Amish Uber operation is there to offer them an alternative.
Amish Business Success...
Amish businesses have a success rate of over 90 percent.
If his operation continues to be successful, it might not be very long before he inspires others to start their own similar business venture as well.

I love this version of uber ecologico, without a doubt it will be a very successful service
In Argentina this service is valid for many years, a traditional walk through the forests of drainer and rose garden
Thank you very much for posting dear friend @doitvoluntarily

Lol, I love it!
Having grown up near Amish communities I can attest to the work ethic and humility with which the Amish approach their businesses. This story is a superb example of that.

I thought they don't like technologies, hmmn but okay, it is a great transition and maybe soon they will accept technology as a gift from God.
